With the New Sound Comes the New Wine
As I was praying and spending time with the Lord during my morning commute, He brought to remembrance a heavenly encounter I had a few years ago. I immediately received a download of all Holy Spirit had been speaking and revealing to me over these past couple of months and their connection. I heard the words “WITH THE NEW SOUND, COMES THE NEW WINE”!
I felt such a burning fire in my belly and all I could do, was repeat this phrase over and over again, until the fire burning within subsided. I immediately had a knowing in my spirit that this was a word for 2020. I had the details of this encounter written down and as I re-read them, I am in utter amazement and awe of the full revelation and the goodness of our God.
One night back in 2017, I was lying in bed drifting off to sleep. I felt a heavenly presence so strong around me. I was taken up by angelic beings. I then opened my eyes to look around. I saw four angels on each side carrying me, as we soared through space and time. This was my first face to face encounter with an angel. Not to mention, it wasn’t just one, but eight of them. I tried looking closer at them to see their faces, but they were such bright, white light beings, that all I could see was their silhouettes. I then felt a sense we were slowing down and I was carried in to what appeared to be the outer courts of heaven. I saw the glory and light of the throne room shining through the upper area. There were gold planters with palms and other plants. The atmosphere was so serene. Even the air was different. It was like breathing in crisp, fresh spring water essence. There was gold detail everywhere, everything around seemed so big and I felt so small. I was filled with excitement to explore and take in every little detail of this encounter. I set my eyes on what appeared to be serving bars, like they have at fancy parties. I thought to myself, why would there be serving bars in heaven? There were no bottles anywhere, but the bartender was serving wine. Rather than merely pouring it, he was shaking it in a shaker with ice. He then poured it into two-tone blue and red large cups, which appeared to be tumblers. While the shaken and chilled wine was being served at the bar, I did not see anyone drinking it. Like it was a glimpse of what heaven is preparing for us. It was as if the people there in the courtyard were all waiting go in to the presence of God. I then look over and set my eyes on a massive gold organ, which filled the entire wall. It was the most beautiful and captivating sight. I noticed some of the people were standing around waiting. It seemed like they were waiting to hear the sound of the organ and I said to them, “why don’t you make your own sound.” We all then started to pray and sing in the spirit.
The year 2020 will be exactly three years from this encounter. The number three represents the Trinity. There were eight angels and eight represents new beginnings. The shaking of the wine represents the shaking that has been and continues to go on in us individually, corporately, regionally and globally. The large blue and red cups the wine was being poured into represent the Holy Spirit and the blood of Jesus Christ. The ice represents the breath of God. The people were not yet drinking the wine because they were waiting to encounter the presence of God and for the new sound to be released. Little did they know, the new sound Father God was preparing, was the sound of unity through His own sons and daughters which was discovered as they began to pray and sing in the spirit.
As I continued to pray into the revelation of this word, the Lord brought me to scripture of the coming of the Holy Spirit referenced in Acts 2. -When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. when the power of God fell on the disciples in the upper room, specifically in verses 6-8: And when this sound occurred, the multitude came together, and were confused, because everyone heard them speak in his own language. Then they were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, “Look, are not all these who speak Galileans? And how is it that we hear, each in our own language in which we were born? Then in verse 13 it says others were mocking and said, “They are full of new wine.”
“And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine bursts the wineskins, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins.” - Mark 2:22
2020 is the year of the NEW SOUND and with it, comes the NEW WINE! I have been hearing the Lord say the words “breakout” and “wild and free”. I feel the Lord is saying this is the foundation on which worshipers and prophetic voices will unite and emerge with reckless abandon like King David, forgoing the old ways of doing things and giving Holy Spirit free reign and complete freedom to move within them to create and release the new sound. Many will be called as pioneers to steward this collaboration and demonstration of complete freedom, pushing the boundaries and limits of the old seasons, leading the church into a greater level of intimacy, trust and greater glory. Strongholds and religious mindsets will be broken and sons and daughters will taste and see just how good our God really is. 2020 is a year of celebration and the overflowing joy. The revival fire is being ignited! Torches are being lit. God says, “this is your year to soar, to take ground, to release the fire and burn brighter than ever before.” It’s all for His glory!!
Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, Streaming to the goodness of the Lord— For wheat and new wine and oil, For the young of the flock and the herd; Their souls shall be like a well-watered garden, And they shall sorrow no more at all. - Jeremiah 31:12
Whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.” Now this, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire. - Hebrews 12:26-29
